Call Center Authentication

Definition

Call center authentication is the process of verifying a caller's identity before allowing account access or changes, traditionally through knowledge-based authentication (KBA), one-time passcodes, caller-ID matching, or voice biometrics. It is the control that decides whether the person on the line is the customer.

Why it matters for financial institutions

Every traditional layer is now compromised in combination: breach data answers KBA questions, SIM swaps intercept passcodes, caller ID is spoofable, and voice clones can defeat voiceprint matching. The call center has become the preferred entry point for account takeover precisely because its controls predate generative AI.

How FalsiFind addresses it

FalsiFind adds the layer the others lack: continuous analysis of whether the caller's voice is machine-generated at all. Streaming detection scores the call from the first second and throughout, feeding IVR and agent desktops so step-up verification triggers automatically when synthesis is suspected.
